    • Project manager and lead Engineer. Responsible for managing projects, supervising work crews, forecasting and controlling budgets. Lead test engineer on 12kV and 138kV utility and industrial projects. Commission high, medium, and low voltage circuit breakers such as Cutler Hammer, Siemens, and Square D. Commission, test, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on distribution and transmission protective relays such as ABB, G.E., Basler, Beckwith, Westinghouse, and Schweitzer relays. Commission, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on high voltage 138kV/12Kv, and 12kV/4kV transformers, 12Kv Cap Banks, and various SCADA points, and transformer alarms.
  • Nipsco, R.M.S. Generating Station: 2000 – 2001 -- Operating and Maintenance Engineer
    • Performed the evaluation, testing, and installation of critical controls and equipment such as power inverters, 480 VAC to   130 VDC battery chargers, and protective relays. Developed and performed preventive eminence procedures using infrared surveys on unit burners, oil coolers, and electrical equipment. Modified existing relay and metering schemes. Project managed and responsible for developing specs for bids, forecasting and controlling cost, and overall successful completion of project on time. Train and assist station electricians on protective relay equipment. Installed and commissioned critical vibration protecting on unit cooling towers.
  • Commonwealth Edison Co.: 1999 – 2000 -- Test Engineer
    • Testing, programming, and the installation of power transmission and distribution line relays such as G.E, Basler, Beckwith, Schweitzer, and ABB relays. Trouble shoot and verify proper operation of circuit breakers, transformers, communication and related electrical equipment. Lead test engineer on projects involving the commissioning and start-up of 12kV and 4Kv switchgear such as PowerCon, Siemens, and Square D. Responsible for testing CT and Bus Pot circuits. Perform in-service test to verify protective relay schemes integrity.  Review, correct, and up-date schematic and wiring diagrams.
  • US Steel: 1990 – 1999 -- Senior Electrical Analyst
    • Lead and direct work crew. Analyze and trouble shoot electrical systems and mill equipment such as AC and DC cranes, Mil drives, and AC and DC control panels. Perform infrared inspections of mill equipment using the latest thermography techniques. Performed power quality analyses using Dranetz and Yokogawa recorders.
